Machine Learning MSc student bridging physics and AI, with published work in fusion science and multi-agent systems. I develop neural networks that solve complex physical simulations and design emergent social behaviors in agent-based models. My dual background in physics and computer science helps me translate theory into practical ML applications.

• • Volunteer at ReFood Portugal and Team Leader at Web Summit (2024), organizing and coordinating volunteer activities.
• • Member of NFIST (Physics Student Club, IST): contributed to student outreach activities and developed the club’s new website.
• • Member of SET - Semana Empresarial Tecnológica: selected and invited speakers, and helped define conference topics, engaging industry professionals from startups to large multinational companies.
• • Member of PSEM: helped reorganize sponsor outreach and update business proposals for this student-led initiative at IST focused on designing electric vehicles for international competitions.
• • Taught Python programming workshops for middle and high school students through After School by TreeTree2, fostering early interest in coding and computational thinking.
• • Developed DespesaPublica.pt, a civic-tech platform visualizing government spending and leveraging the Portuguese Web Archive to track historical news.
• • Developed The Traitors, an independent research framework using large language models to study emergent behaviors in multi-agent simulations, sharing findings and reproducible experiments with the research community.
• • Released one of the first million-scale datasets on near-axis plasma behavior for fusion energy machine learning, enabling reproducible research and model benchmarking. Dataset available at Hugging Face.
